GTS provides transportation solutions for various commodities of Dangerous Goods transported throughout the world, from radioactive medical items or laboratory samples, to full air charters of explosives and ammunition, cargoes that are forbidden aboard commercial aircraft (such as grenades and rockets). GTS’ extensive experience allows for inspection and check in advance to ensure HAZMAT shipments are confirmed in full compliance according to DOT, IATA, or IMO regulations, as appropriate, with the goal of providing the best service available, preventing any delay caused by improper packaging or document discrepancy. Clients are ultimately responsible to ensure all requirements of proper preparation and classification of dangerous goods are met; however GTS' service extends to ensure that all cargoes are in proper condition and correctly certified.  GTS staff maintains training and certification for IATA and IMDG regulations, plus the additional training required for the certification and handling of both Class 1 Explosives and radioactive materials. GTS’ international network of cooperating partners includes agents specialized in dangerous goods handling to facilitate in transit and destination services when necessary, such as certification and packing, recertification for transshipments, pre-clearance and special delivery for shipments requiring necessary permissions or exemptions. Extensive experience and expertise ensures the transport of dangerous materials is conducted with the utmost consideration for safety and efficiency.
